Family Outing

I spent a lovely wet day today with some of my children and grandchildren ...we took advantage of the 100 year anniversary of Maracoopa Cave   and went along for the free tours.
You can go see some pics here.  As I said it was raining ,but not inside the caves ....they are absolutely fabulous and we will return so we can take some pics inside (not allowed today..not enough time between tours.)
The formations and glow worms were awesome.
After lunch K.T and family left us so Kurt could play hockey and Em,Zac ,Summer and myself drove up to Devils Gullet and did the 30 min walk in the drizzle and fog !!! didn't see much really but will return another day in sunshine. It is amazing what is in your own back yardor not to far away.
I managed to pick up a few windfalls along the way and intend to do a little something with them next weekend at our basketry gathering at Roches Beach.
